We're all about you and your dog's happiness, PAWS Parents......
That's why we've created a brand new breed of dog walker that 'connects dogs to their environment and nature through play and adventure- Mrs P.A.W.S.
Welcome to P.A.W.S. Wirral
I'm Nikki and I run Paws Wirral- a Licensed Paws Partnership (L.P.P.) with Paws Adventure Walking Service (P.A.W.S.), together we deliver happiness and well-being services to dogs right across the Wirral Peninsula.
Are you worried that your dog is bored and depressed when home alone?
Do you struggle to give them a really good walk during the day or when trying to work from home? Don't worry, we can help.....
'Our mission is to improve the physical health and mental well-being of all the dogs in our PAWS family by ''connecting them to their environment and nature, through play and adventure''.
You are so much more than just a dog owner.......you are a dog parent and we are so much more than a bog-standard dog walking service, we offer 'more than just a walk in the park'!
If you worry about leaving your dog home alone and don't want them getting depressed or destructive, or finding themselves an 'unhelpful' job to do like shredding your cushions or chewing all your toilet rolls, howling or barking at anyone who passes by, we can help by giving them the opportunity to get rid of all that pent up energy and frustration. By going to exciting locations: we play with them, we interact with them and we set them challenges that give them a useful 'job' to do, they use their brain and figure things out, returning home tired and calm, both physically and mentally and are able to rest until you return.
No more worry, no more ripped up furniture, no more howling, barking or sinking into depression or anxiety.
All our adventures incorporate the P.A.W.S’s four key elements of:
1. Safety
2. Play
3. Challenge
4. Reward
We always use positive reinforcement methods and reward your dog's good behaviour, listening and 'good canine' citizen skills.

My Path.....
At the beginning of 2020, after 30 years of working in retail management, I decided that the time had come for me to change my career path.
I was no longer getting as much enjoyment and satisfaction from my job role, I knew I had to be brave and take the leap into something new and exciting. That something turned out to be this amazing opportunity to spend my days with the most innocent and beautiful creatures on this planet, your “furry little friends”.
I met Sarah (Mrs P.A.W.S) when our situation changed, and we had to find a dog walker. We both knew that we wanted more for our dogs than just a “walk” and Sarah came along with the perfect solution.
After seeing what they do with our best friends at “P.A.W.S.” and knowing that they were not only in safe hands but having an amazing adventure, connecting with nature and their environment through play and fun challenges. I was amazed to see just how quickly they learnt new tricks and wanted to show us whilst we walked them! I wanted to be part of this, so when Sarah explained about her Licensed Paws Partnership (L.P.P.), I knew I had to get onboard, and so my adventure began.
My love of dogs started with our family dog Sophie the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, she was a gentle soul who touched the hearts of all our family.
In 2010 my heart was completely stolen again when Alfie the Beagle came into mine and my son’s lives. From this moment
on, I knew I would never be without a dog, even though as a pup he would have tested the patience of a saint!
When I met my husband in 2014, along came Holly the Cocker Spaniel and thankfully her and Alfie became the best of friends
and have given us so much love and happiness along with lots of amazing escapades.
I value first-hand just how highly people regard their dog’s well-being; I will deliver a service that reflects this.
My mission will be to provide peace of mind for my customers, I do not want them to have to worry about what their dog may
be getting up to or if they are sad or lonely.
Your dog will not only be getting physical exercise but connecting with their environment and nature through play and adventures, improving both their physical and mental health.
Now, Let the ADVENTURE Begin.....
